Hi, and welcome. I appreciate your visit to my website. As you can see, I am a painter of horses and
other animals, which I love.
As you tour my galleries I hope you find that love evident in every portrait I paint. My passion is to convey each animal’s unique personality - in essence, to capture the very spirit of my subject and bring it to life.
Many of us are fortunate enough to have close relationships with a few special animals, such as our dogs and cats, horses, etc. They are there for us to pet and snuggle up to any time we want - but how often can you look right into the eyes of a wild wolf? Or get close enough to an owl to count its feathers? How often are you on a
Northwoods lake at dawn to witness the tranquil swim of a loon with her chicks? That’s why I paint what I do – to make those moments real for each one of us. And accessible – so we can experience them anytime we want to.
